Majorflaw (Michael Fingerit) Files Reposted
The comments below come from UGOG from September through November. They are the Michael Fingerit Files. 1-14 summarize the major grievances against Fingerit. The quotes from Fingerit's site then follow, showing the veracity of the summary. The indented comments are from his site, my intro and quick take surround them. There is also an email at the end sent by Fingerit in which Fingerit uses his position as an attorney to threaten someone with criminal action based on a civil manner while representing himself to be responding in a legal capacity on behalf of "voila" which of course is Lloyd Lachow.
Whenyou read this and realize that Markos Moulitsas has come to the defense of these people while banning hundreds of people who have spoken out against this kind of stuff, you'll see why Daily Kos' has lost 75% of its viewers since October.
THE MICHAEL FINGERIT FILES
Based on nearly 500 pages of comments from this own website as well as his comments at Daily Kos and in a couple of emails that are included in this packet from his email address. Here is an interpretative summary of what Michael Fingerit has done. It speaks for itself.
1. As user Major Flaw at Daily Kos, he outed the real life personal information of five different users that he was having disagreements with.
2. As user Major Flaw at Daily Kos, he threatened to have someone thrown in jail if this person exposed the fact that Major Flaw's sidekick at Daily Kos, a usser named condoleaser/bottles, sent an email threatening a person's employment which was forwarded to Major Flaw by bottles. He represented himself in the capacity of an attorney when making these threats against this user.
3. As user Major Flaw at Daily Kos, he coordinated efforts to anonymously send emails to a user's employer to try and get the user fired. He and/or his sidekick posted the name of this user's employer at Daily Kos.
4. As user Major Flaw at Daily Kos, he linked to the real name of a woman he had an onlnie dispute with at Daily Kos and even referenced her neighborhood down to a one block radius.
5. As user UGOG, he threatened to kick the ass of a man if said man thought of reinitiating a lawsuit against a client of his.
6. As user Major Flaw at Daily Kos, he set up a secret web site never meant to be found called UGOG or Usual Group of Grownups. (Ugog.soapblox.net) At this site, he coordinated his intimidation and harassment activities in which he revealed his strategy as to how he would deny everything if this became public, how he was going to attack users at Daily Kos, his investigations of people's real life information, and his desire to inflict harm on those he perceived as his enemy.
7. As user UGOG, he supported the idea of having a Daily Kos user whom he had disagreements with sodomized.
8. As user UGOG, he supported the idea of having a Daily Kos user whom he had disagreements with electroshocked.
9. As user UGOG, he posted the names of a man's children, parents, and siblings on the Internet as well as his date of birth without permission.
10. As user Major Flaw and as user UGOG, he would often use his sidekick "bottles"/condoleaser to try and threaten people into being quiet. Bottles is Lloyd Lachow, who lost his license to practice being a chiropractor because according to the Colorado Supreme Court, he grabbed a patient's breasts, threw her body up against his pelvic area and started shaking her head violently. Fingerit was using Lachow to try and silence people. Lachow once threatened a man's children and hinted that if not medicated, he wouldn't be able to control himself.
11. As user Major Flaw and as user UGOG , Fingerit created a sophisticated, detailed, and elaborate scheme whereby he and a bunch of Daily Kos users would become the all time cyver-bullies and use the troll rating system at Daily Kos to drive thousands of solid Democrats away from the site, intimidate other members and harass other members.
12. As user UGOG, he linked to information about a user's father and his father's workplace.
13. As user UGOG, he stated that if a former Daily Kos user showed up at Netroots Nation, he might go to put his foot in this user's face.
14. As user UGOG, he talked about how he was going to do some "advertising" on behalf of a lawyer he was having an online dispute with.

Here he states his intent for the site. It’s to back up his dirty work at Daily Kos, the site where he does most of his dirty work.
The stated purpose of this site is to provide backup for the folks who do the dirty work of keeping the kos relatively honest. UGOG 9/2/08

This is part of Michael’s strategy of trying to control thoughts at Daily Kos. Nothing illegal but this is how he spends his spare time. He spent countless hours developing his system of Thought Police.
One of the things we could do here is a donut bank. If I’m gonna log off for a bit while you will be sticking around I can cover (replace) whatever donuts you dropped thus giving you additional donuts. It won’t do a lot with such a small (albeit somewhat good looking) group but eventually this is something that would act as a multiplier. UGOG 9/3/08
This comment by Michael is in reference to one of his online enemies who just fathered a child. It’s a way for Michael to communicate with "Bottles" to use children as a threat given that user condo lost his license to be a chiropractor in Colorado for admittedly abusing two female patients. This won’t be the first nor late time Michael has researched every family member of users he does not like and then provided that information online.
I wonder if the new sewer prevents people from signing up from a proxified internet connection. Even without posting any comments it’d be kinda neat to take his name away while he is adjusting to paternity. UGOG 9/3/08 in reference to one of his online enemies.
This is only for those who understand Daily Kos meta. It’s not a community moderated site but rather a regulated online Thought Police approved by Kos and his administrators who, despite knowing of UGOG and the real life harassment, ignore it while punishing those who speak out against it.

Michael has a long history of Thought Police behavior prior to his 3 years at Daily Kos. He seems to enjoys this.
This is very similar to what I did at DU. They had a daily "Moderator Availability Thread" which had been used as a sorta sign in sheet and nothing else. I kinda took it over and made the "MAT" my own. There’s even a CD for "MATS vol. 1" Knew who I was talking to there just as I know who I am talking with here. This is Michael bragging online about his association with BAMRA. There are several troubling aspects to this comment. Most notable is the revealing of this info and the threats against Charlie with the intent of trying to discourage him from bringing forward litigation. Michael also did this in email to (USER C) by threatening to have him thrown in jail if he revealed an email that was sent to him by his sidekick Bottles.

When his wife was killed in the attack he found his voice and became something of a spokesman for victims families. Rose to the chair of this organization he had barely been a part of previously on the strength of his victimhood and nothing else.
Anyway, I had been given a heads up and was watching the clock. From the first handshake combined with, "Hi. I'm ___" to, "You know my wife was killed on 9/11" took less than three minutes. Lest you find me a tad unsympathetic reread the article I linked above--Charlie wasn't lonely. And in that neighborhood Charlie's loss wasn't unique.
He wasn't doing well for the organization, using it as a personal platform. He met regularly with public officials and promoted himself as chair of this group. He also, once my block got him off the board, had the balls to sue the organization for expenses he incurred while wining and dining said public officials. If it isn't clear yet, this is a non-profit. Completely volunteer and nobody gets their expenses covered.
Something about this really pissed me off so I made an offer to the board: Let me try this case (meaning no offer of settlement ever) and I'll do it for free. They agreed.

This proved to be no easy task as the occupant in question was one Mylene Ligget who is an amazingly duplicitous piece of work. So I'm sitting in Judge Richard Wallach's (Appellate Division, highest court I had appeared in to that point) chambers. With me were attorneys for Citibank, Bank Leumi and the sheriff of NY County. This woman was ranting and raving and I must confess it was difficult keeping my composure. Until it became impossible. Wallach dismissed 98% of her argument and described the remainder as, "a wisp of a reason" before tossing her out on her ass.

Now Michael’s site has been discovered exactly 3 months after he started it. He tries to blame it on (USER D) but (USER D's departure from Daily Kos and so called jihad happened 6 weeks after Fingerit said he knew this would come out which it wouldn’t have absent dumb luck that led to its discovery. Michael then claims he stands by everything he wrote at the site. Of course he then scrubbed the site of certain content later on. However a PDF file was created to save all original content.
It started around the time that (USER D's) jihad started. Folks who play dangerous games tend to get burned. Of course we knew it would come out. Only an idiot wouldn’t understand that a public site could be found. And you know what (USER H) – I’m not gonna delete a thing. I stand by what I wrote. Finally I leave you with the emails showing threats of criminal action regarding User C's emails. I’ll let others judge accordingly for I have my opinions as to what the appropriate legal consequences should be for this. But you crossed a line there, the line between fuzzy internet stuff and reality and I'm suggesting that you really don't want to do that. Without doing any research it appears that you have substantially outed yourself. Should you choose to follow through with your threat and publish your theory anywhere it will be treated not as an internet event but as a real world criminal matter. You are getting into overkill Dave. Why I don't bother to put my hard drive stuff somewhere. They have done the damage to dkos and it is over now I think. majorflaw is not going to recover from this. And any newbies are going to leave pretty quickly if they are smart, sensible. It nolonger has lots of people who know each other. No solidarity there anymore which was its biggest asset. All gone like Tara.

This is a cut and paste. This diary was written before.
I have my reasons for reposting it, included among them to highlight exactly what MajorFlaw did in succinct terms with the actual quotes.
In fact I plan to print these quotes out tomorrow again for myself in simpler form without my commentary and just list them.
These are the things Kos defends and if people want to know why I fought back and my moral highground, here it is.
As for the damage done to dailykos, you are correct in that the Kos Kops have done what no group of organized republicans could have ever done. They destroyed the site. I said politely a long time ago that MajorFlaw, even though he didn't intend to be, was the biggest troll that Daily Kos had. As Flaw continues to go further and further unhinged and just goes batshit crazy at this point, my insights turned out to be prescient.
Almost all "newbies" at DK at this point are oldies there to cause havoc. How many users left still post under UID 50,000?
